Hank Puckett hank@missionkitestring.org
President/Founder
Hank graduated from Urbandale High School and Des Moines Area Community College in May 2016. At Urbandale, he was involved in football, rugby, and the woodworking program. He was also the worship leader for Urbandale's chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
In high school, Hank and his friends started and ran a student-led ministry called Catalyst. This experience taught him qualities of leadership, administration, and professionalism, as well as deepening his love for Jesus and Others. Hank has a vast passion for writing, woodworking, music, camping, and the people of Haiti.
Hank's love story with Haiti began when he was in 7th grade, when he took his first mission trip with his church. From then on, Hank used every opportunity he could find to make it down to Haiti. His sophomore year in high school, he launched a mission called H8i with friends as a way to deliver bibles to Haiti. Since then, God has deepened his desire to change Haiti through the Gospel.
Through the divinity of his nature, God has shown Hank beyond a shred of doubt that Haiti is where he is supposed to be. Hank administers on-site training for our partner, Jean Robert, and directs funds that have been donated.

John Bloss jbloss@missionkitestring.org
Director of Development
John graduated from Drake University in 2015 where he studied business and received a double major in Marketing and Management. He was a member of the Drake University football team, where he started at Defensive Back for 4 years. He was also heavily involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes while in school and served as a member of the leadership team for 3 years.
John has a deep love for serving others and spreading God's love. He enjoys all things outdoors, including camping, hiking, fishing, and photography. Interests also include binge watching movies, dogs, and music, especially music made by Ellie Goulding.
John's first trip to Haiti was over Spring Break of 2015, where he met Hank, and fell in love with the people and culture of Haiti. It was the plane ride back from this trip where their partnership formed and John decided he was going to use his background in business to assist Hank in making his long time vision come true, in whatever sense God has planned.
John spent the summer of 2016 working with the Non-Profit Josiah-Venture in Bulgaria, where he served as a huddle leader for their sports wilderness camp, helping teach the youth of Eastern Europe both physical and spiritual tools for becoming Godly young men and women.
